The Dark Side Of Twin Flames - How The Journey Is Being Exploited

It seems like, just as with any other spiritual movement or concept throughout history…Twin Flames have been well and truly exploited… much like with the many fake psychics, mediums & gurus over the ages, ego-maniacs who think they’re a god amongst men or that they’ve found their golden goose have latched onto the Twin Flame name and have been milking it for all they can. It’s incredibly upsetting to see something so beautiful be turned into an absolute hellish nightmare that goes against everything Twin Flames and the spiritual community stand for…

I’m talking of course about the very negative publicity certain people masquerading as Twin Flames have brought to the community, not to mention the damage to countless souls they’ve been reported to have caused - appearing to be holier than thou whilst sacrificing the happiness and peace of those who they claim to help… all in the name of getting rich.

It’s clear that they care very little about anyone finding their Twin Flame and have no respect for what is one of the most natural and harmonious connections two people can experience on this planet. They don’t even seem to care if they destroy the integrity and reputation of the Twin Flame title, as long as they keep the money rolling in.

Honestly, I do not want to be associated with anything that people like that are preaching. I don’t want my readers to ever confuse my writings with some of the horrible, deeply negative and misguided opinions that some of these “leaders” in our community have been expressing… because I completely disagree with the ideals being circulated, I do not believe they have fully understood the concept of Twin Flames… and they definitely lack any understanding of unconditional love (how they’ve reportedly treated others makes that very clear).

Why Are Twin Flames Being Targeted Now?...

For centuries unsavoury human beings have latched onto the unseen or the spiritual as an easy way to make some quick cash, often targeting the most vulnerable in society. Unfortunately many of you may have witnessed this if you’ve ever watched closely to how fake mediums hook people in using cold reading and other techniques (that’s not to say I haven’t met any good mediums, because I have experienced some that were so good, I couldn’t explain it no matter how skeptical I tried to be) but it’s a tale as old as time, that seems to repeat again and again.

Although the concept and representations of Twin Flames have been around for a very long time, it’s been relatively untouched in relation to other spiritual topics and areas, leaving it wide open to be exploited now by those who have been searching for something new to twist and confuse people with.

Please beware of any of the red flags below, unfortunately there are many wolves in sheep’s clothing throughout the spiritual community… I’m truly shocked by what I’ve seen in the media recently and my heart goes out to all those who have been affected by any of these so called Twin Flame “experts”.

Twin Flame Coaching

Firstly, No - you don’t need “coaching”…

You do not need to be coached on your Twin Flame journey, you just need to go out and live it… talking to a “coach” about it isn’t going to make it happen. It takes action, not talk, to progress along your path, whatever path you’re walking, if someone wants to keep you talking you aren’t going to get very far.

These coaches aren’t your magical fairy godmother here to wave their magic wands, they have no connection to your Twin Flame or power to bring them to you… they are just there to take your time and keep you coming back - it’s very upsetting that the Twin Flame concept has been twisted and is being used in such ways.

Nor do you need to become a “coach” or do any other kind of work or give your energy in any way to any of these so called Twin Flame “gurus”… your time, effort and work is valuable, anyone who expects you to give it away for free is using you, clear and simple. Your Twin Flame journey isn’t dependent on these people or what they say, it’ll happen naturally and on a journey that is personal and unique to you, it can’t be orchestrated by another individual just to meet their own needs or ideas.

Remember, unless stated otherwise, most of these “coaches” have very little, if any professional training or qualifications. They aren’t doctors or therapists, they can’t see into the future or magically fix anything - the advice they give might not be good advice… and in some of the stories I’ve heard about, can even be very damaging when followed.

Every soul has a beautiful mixture of both masculine and feminine energy, this has nothing to do with biological sex or gender, it isn’t fixed and changes with time as we learn and grow. Some of us may have more feminine energy, some more masculine… but we always match our Twin Flame’s unique mix of energies, creating a harmonious balance between you.

Twin Flame Bullying

It seems that bullying has become reportedly common amongst this toxic group of Twin Flame impersonators, creating a damaging and hurtful  environment for those unfortunate enough to fall under their influence.

Nobody should ever try to make you feel “less than” or bring you down, the Twin Flame journey is empowering and always has love at its core, anyone who is awakened enough to truly be in Twin Flame union, would never be so misaligned as to berate, belittle or disrespect others in such a way.

Twin Flames operate from a place of pure unconditional love, it’s a frequency which spite, anger and hate just can’t reach.

If a “coach” ever makes you feel upset or bullied in any way, it’s a sure sign that they’re bad news.

Don’t F**k With Free Will

A Twin Flame coach, guide or influencer should NEVER be pushing you towards partners that you would not choose for yourself, they shouldn’t ever be trying to convince you that you like or are attracted to someone or do anything that you don’t want to.

From what I’ve read online and seen in the media, some of these supposed “experts” even have the audacity to probe into people’s gender identity and sexual preferences, it’s utterly unimaginable and despicable.

Nobody should ever try to make you feel or believe something that you don’t agree with or do not align with. No one knows you better than you know yourself, don’t ever let anyone convince you otherwise. You were blessed with the gift of free will and that’s something that nobody can ever take away.

If someone tries to make you change fundamental things about yourself, they don’t love or respect the person you are now and that’s the complete opposite of unconditional love.

No Leaders Here

There are no leaders to follow, you have your own unique path to walk down - we all do.

You’re your own leader - there are no Twin Flame “Leaders” or chosen ones, nobody is above anyone else… it’s a personal connection for each soul to experience, equally as powerfully as everyone else, with each circumstance and situation unique and unfolding authentically on its own.

Your intuition and inner guidance is the only thing you need to listen to and what will ultimately guide you towards your Twin Flame, there is no need to follow others as nobody else knows your way, but you.

Bold Claims Equal Red Flags For Twin Flames

If anyone promises that they know who your Twin Flame is or that they can make them fall in love with you, run for the hills… as only you and your divine counterpart will ever truly know… and you’ll know through feeling and experiencing them firsthand for yourself.

When Twin Flames meet it’s usually through an unpredictable, unexpected route that always happens with divine right timing, nobody else could ever have that power, you and your Twin Flame will feel instinctively drawn to each other when the time is right, no third party needed.

Likewise to anyone who makes bold claims to be able to miraculously heal or fix you in any way (unless they’re a doctor of course) this is always a red flag and a sign to go no further, anyone who would be reckless enough to make such claims, would say just about anything they think you want to hear.

The Future For Twin Flames

A few rotten apples aren’t going to stop Twin Flames all over the world from awakening and reuniting, no matter how much they try to twist and exploit this beautiful connection, the truth will always shine through.

The best thing you can do is stay aware and mindful, trust yourself and remember that your journey is your own… no one else’s - no outsider can dictate it, manipulate it or sell it back to you.

The universe has a way of sorting things out in the long run… and karma will take care of those who take advantage of others. In the meantime, stay true to your path, trust your intuition and never let anyone convince you that they have control over something as sacred as true love.
